PLACES OF LASALLE: Where Satisfaction and Affordability Meet

Prices of commodities these days have been up to the roof. Budgeting has been becoming more difficult than ever since. And as students who have limited resources to get through the week, we budgetarians went wandering around Lasalle to see, find out, and try affordable places to recommend for broke students like us!

First on our list is the Quan Native Delicacies. Who would not know the good old Quan, right? It’s a well-known Filipino restaurant from the City of Smiles. There are two branches near Lasalle. One is near Gate 1 and the other near Gate 2. Whichever branch you choose, surely you’ll be satisfied. The difference between the two though is Quan near Gate 2 is much wider than the other. Quan Delicacies offer students and its customers with affordable traditional Filipino cuisine, bread, cakes, and kakanins (native delicacies). Their Kutsinta is only P3.00 each, perfect for a great afternoon snack. They also offer batchoy, rice meals, and even pastries such as napoleones and moon cake. You can mix and match any kakanin or bread you like at your budget range. You can also get their iced tea for only P20.00. Not only that, they also have a great space for students to study or just spend time while waiting for their classes. Both branches are air conditioned making it more comfortable for customers to stay. The place is also sanitary as workers there sanitize the area every after customer.

Another affordable and satisfying place to eat near La Salle is the Cafe ACross. It is located at Roli's Arcade La Salle Avenue. It is a perfect place for students to eat and study if they want to or even jam. They offer a variety of foods from breakfast to lunch and snacks. They also offer some refreshing beverages. And of course, they also serve coffee which is a favorite drink of a lot of students. Fun fact about this cafe is that they also sell ice cream, lettuce, fresh probiotics chicken, fresh milk fish, and a variety of packed delicacies and pasalubongs. When it comes to price, it is reasonable for its quality as well as the accomodation of the place. Like their breakfast meals you can already have a silog meal with drinks for around 80 pesos only.
